If you're planning to make money, you need a business plan before you do anything. And part of that plan should detail how you are going to make money. I can't imagine putting countless hours of work and dollars into a project, only to find out that I don't have a monetization strategy! Sure, you need good content and traffic, but that's kind of pointless if you aren't yet aware of how you'll make money once you have the traffic. I totally disagree. Sure, you need good content and traffic, but that’s kind of pointless if you aren’t yet aware of how you’ll make money once you have the traffic.
